Synopsis:

Piper Findlater won the Victoria Cross in battle at the heights of Dargi in India in 1897. He piped his company into the attack and crossed three quarters of the battlefield. After being shot through both ankles he propped himself up, still exposed to the enemy and continued to pipe the men on.
